Use and details

Pre-installation checks:

• Ensure the target surface is clean, dry and free of dust, oils or silicone residues. Suitable substrates include glass, painted metals, rigid plastics and smooth coated boards. Not recommended for heavily textured or porous surfaces.

• Test a small sample if substrate compatibility or long-term adhesion is critical.

Cutting & Weeding:

• Use standard cutting plotter settings for 1.5 mil PET films; adjust blade depth and speed for clean cuts without cutting the liner.

• The 120 g liner provides stable feeding and minimal deformation — ideal for detailed weeding.

• For intricate designs, reduce blade force and do multiple light passes rather than one deep cut.

Application:

• For small to medium decals, use the dry-apply method (squeegee) or wet-apply for easier repositioning on larger graphics.

• If wet-applying, use a mild soapy solution, squeegee out moisture, and allow full cure time per adhesive manufacturer guidance.

• Apply firm, even pressure with a felt or hard squeegee to ensure full contact and remove trapped air.

• Allow adhesive to set; avoid heavy cleaning or abrasion for 24–48 hours after application.

Maintenance & Durability:

• Clean with mild soap and water; avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that can damage the brushed finish or adhesive bond.

• Outdoor life depends on exposure (sun, salt, abrasion) — expect good weather resistance but verify for high-UV or marine environments.

• Store unused rolls flat or on cores in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Safety & Disposal:

• Handle cuts and scraps responsibly; follow local regulations for disposal of film and liner materials.

• Although PVC-free, dispose of waste according to local recycling or waste-handling guidelines.
